OK, I got a smoking deal on a '70 B-Body Hemi K-frame that I couldn't pass up. But here's the rub, I'm building a 440 Wedge motor...

Schumacher says nobody - including him - makes 440-to-Hemi mounts, only Hemi-to-Wedge mounts. Is this true?

Have any of you mounted a 440 to a Hemi K-frame? Did you have to fabricate your own solid mounts? (I'm OK running solids, FYI.)

What do you guys suggest?

Sell the Hemiroid K member and buy the correct one for your car and retire on the rest of the money

Al Debevec gets 895 for the K-member, motor mounts and engine mount brackets. Just for reference. Tim

Exactly. I'd think that an original Hemi K-frame in good shape would be worth $1000 while a big block K-frame is $150 at a swap meet.

To answer the question , yes you can mount the 440 to the Hemi mounts , many many many years ago I bought a 68 hemi RR that had a 383 mounted on the factory hemi K frame. The person that did it made a U shaped bracket bent from a piece of 3/16" or 1/4" steel that went from the hemi insulator to the wedge engine bracket.
