This car was at Hot August Nights this past weekend and I spent a long time looking it over, awesome build! Best car I saw the whole week!

I really like the plating/anodizing, the valve cover detail, and the interior color. Nice build, and the exterior patina is a nice touch; though it's something a lot of people might say detracts from the rest of the build, it's an interesting & controversial choice.

The cool thing about that build is when the patina is out of style there isn't much work that needs to be done to finish the car with shiny paint.

I kinda dig the old patina on this car as its not too bad but just enough to give it character to fit the name of the car......

Incredible level of detail and just getting an early elephant into an a -body is impressive. That being said I HATE the fake rat rod look. If the guy is getting it out before he can get it painted- cool then I have all the respect in the world for him. But someone spending big money to make the car look like crap. My car will look pretty rough in between getting the big block in and getting the paint done, not because I want it to look that way, but dammit I want to drive it.

That is a late model 3G hemi , if you notice the front timing cover.

It's a 6.4 Hemi crate motor if I remember correctly. If you've got instagram, carmaperformance has posted a number of pics of it before it was finished. He tuned it, greening auto built it.

Whats the biggest worry with a perfect finished car? The paint. I totally understand why the owner chose to do it that way. You can park or drive it anywhere you want without worry. Its the original paint on the car, its not like the added patina to fresh paint.

That car is tubbed at all 4 corners! The underhood shots show bulges in the fender aprons to allow the tires to rise up into the body higher.
I like the look of the grille and headlights. I wish I could have seen the rear tires to get an idea of the overall stance of the car. The interior colors are not my style, but it is tasteful.
I thought the computer monitor was blurry at first, then I saw that the car had factory primer showing. Its a different look, building a semi-finished type of car. Once again, not my favorite idea, but its not my car either.
Overall, I like it.

That has had early style G1 Hemi valve covers adapted to it.

Very cool build. Certainly not cookie cutter.

Since this IS the handling section, I don't really care how the car feels or looks, I rather know what makes it tick, handle, stop, etc. and how? So?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Meh. I'd rather have Tim Werner's 68 Valiant.

'67 is an abbreviation of 1967
67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet
They are not interchangeable.

I like the 69 grille better, but as far as chassis engineering, I'm with you.
