Dont know why - but i dont have my ammeter
Jumped , all my heavy stuff is off the battery .
Works just fine , but am curious ..

What do other peoples ammeters do with 16 v batt, and factory alternator hooked up ?

Technically i guess nuthin . Since alternator
Doesnt really charge , or will it ?

I dont EVEr seem to juice up my xs battery ..
But i do after a pass , because i can .

Just makin observations ..
Wondering if it shows a + position
When running .. Or stays centered ?

Any observations appreciated ..

I dony really understand the Q, but voltage should have nothing to do with the amp meter as it is the current flow trough it that creates heat and bends the piece of whatever the metal is called.

It should be on the + side pretty much any time it running
but in most cases it has to be above idle

I'm surprised that it would see the turn signal pulse
yet not be on the + side... is that at idle

I was under the impression that people didn't use ammeters anymore because of all the current that flows thru on todays cars. Electric fans, water pumps, etc.
