A friend of mine is looking for a switch to cut off the ignition when oil pressure is less than 20 lbs. What are you using? part #, and where to get it?

thanks

If you wire it into the ignition you'll have to flip a switch every time to start it and flip it back so it works.

I just wire mine into the shift light.

You can still crank the engine with it... it just
wont fire till it reaches the kill pressure

I never considered that. Depends on what you have though too. My current motor with an external suction line will not make oil pressure when cranking.

I use this one:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mrg-7872/overview/

It's a three prong setup NO/NC that trips at 15psi. You wire your start circuit to the NC side so the pump runs immediately while cranking and fills the carb(s), the NO side to the ignition circuit for the safety feature while running, and the output to the pump or pump relay. There is a wiring diagram that shows this. Be sure that the switch has enough current capacity to run your pump if you don't use a relay. I've run the Mallory 140 on my RoadRunner directly through the switch for years with no problem, but a bigger pump would need a relay. Works great and gives a little more protection that a 5 psi switch.
