dizuster OP master D Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 3,635 Oakland, MI	Anyone been to Lapeer lately? Just wondering exactly how bad the traction is? Looking to go somewhere on Sunday to test. I know Milan will have better traction, but it�s hard to get a lot of runs in there. I�m sure I can make more runs at Lapeer. It�s close to my house, but I don�t want to waste my time either.

MR_P_BODY Master Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 52,972 Romeo MI	Sundays are usually pretty decent being thats a race day... my buddy was out there last week and he was running real close to his normal 1.50 60' times... he was playing with new tires(larger in both width and diameter)but when it got done he was back to what he normally runs.... I think Mopar Dave was there last weekend

mopar dave master Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 8,046 Mt Morris Michigan	yeah I was there Saturday til the rain came. thinking about going back sunday,race day and t&t inbetween racing. track may be prepped better than Saturdays. still the worst track in Michigan. still a gravel parking lot. they did add a concrete pad in both lanes about 20' out from tree which may help stick better. I had an issue with wheel hop,but mr.Pbody(mike) mentioned getting more weight on the back.
