I have a 499 low deck that would be 11.5 with the super victors, will this be too much head for this motor with 600ish solid cam.would be used in a 3300 bracket car.

I felt like it would be too much for mine and went with the RPM's. Some times too much HP is not a good thing. Can't belive I just typed that.

Do you mean the max wedge Victor heads? I think the super Victor is the larger 440 intake manifold?

I'm trying to run the Max Wedge Victors on my 499ish 400, with a 0.714" lift cam, but have had issues with breaking the center rocker stand off the heads with just slightly over 700# open spring pressure.

I don't think so...If you have the heads, bolt them on and have fun!!

Have you had more issues with the center stand on your heads?

X2... have you broken a center stand even after the fix you posted?

The stock one on the drivers side split with about 50 miles on the engine. I thought that was my fault because I had used rocker shaft shims. To fix that we milled the stands off (to about the level of the valve cover gasket) and used the aluminum max wedge type rocker shaft hold down blocks (also milled for the correct rocker shaft height.) Because the drivers side stand broke off down near the base, it was milled down to the base and a spacer was made to bring the base upto the level of the other stands. Then the drivers side heli-coil pulled out of the center stand when tightening down the rocker shafts (this was the one the machine shop installed), so I installed a 3/4" long "TimeSert" thread repair bushing and that fixed the drivers side, but at the time the factory passenger side insert, still in the stand part, just below the milled off area, seemed OK?
I ran the car on the street just a bit, maybe 200 miles, and made about 30 or so 1/4-mile passes at the track when the passenger side stand cracked at the base, like the drivers side originally did.
This caused the exhaust pushrod to come out and the engine was backfiring and knocking really bad when it happened, so I pulled the entire engine apart just to make sure nothing else was damaged.
The passenger side head got the same machine work as the drivers side head, which was to mill the broken part flat near the base and install the 3/4" TimeSert. Now I just jave to put the engine back together...
