Trying to get a dipstick working after TTI header install. Got the flexible and it says keep away an inch. Its not possible. Is there rubber in there that will melt or what?

what motor is it? i got 2 in. TTI,s on my big bock with a stock dip stick.

I use those and cover them with heat insulation.

Hemi. They are 2 1/8. Nightmare getting a metal tube to work.

copy that! I used the Milodon flexible stick after destroying a couple metal ones. I have 2 1/8 tti's on my hemi. I wrapped some heat protection wrap around the flexible dipstick and wired it fast.

I use the Milodon flexible dipstick on my hemi with 2 1/4" headers. It lays right on one of the primary tubes at one bend. No problem though...been that way for 7 years.

I do use a piece of cable I cut to length and marked as a dipstick. The "wire" dipstick it comes w/ was a real pain to get in and out w/ the bends the tube has to make.
