I need to remove my instrument cluster to replace the tach on my 69 Gtx looks like the lower dash pad has to come off to get the cluster out.How do I do that?

You can do it without removing the dash pad. I had my tach rebuilt so had to remove it. Remove the ashtray and holder and you should be able to get to the screws holding the tach in place... if you have small hands.

Have some band aids handy for all the cuts and scrapes you will suffer.

I agree. Taking the radio out helps with space too.
