Ok, I'm about done with a/c installation in my '65 Valiant. The kit comes with a water valve that must go on the outlet side of the water system going toward the heater core. Would this be the hose nipple on the water pump housing, or on the intake manifold? Anyone??

That one. Coolant approaching the stat is always the hottest (it just came from the eng innards). Hot coolant is flowing from the front of each head laterally into the intake toward the center stat housing. The eng nipple in close proximity to the housing will be the one going to the heater inlet
