That is the pickup required for that pan, I do not know of any aftermarket pickup made to work with that pan .

there may have been one made by melling about 20 yrs ago ...

A month or two ago before I picked up my motor from the shop I had them install a 402 on it.
He didn't have any problem getting the pickup so there has to be some somewhere.

My receipt has a # 63S4 but it doesn't say the manufacturer.
If pressed I could probably go by next week and ask.

Actually, and I love the internets,

I don't know which one will work since they both say 440 and stock pan, maybe John knows which shape is the right one.

lookie there , melling still makes them.

The first one linked , s4 .. though it's more expensive than the mopar pickup is the 402 pan pickup , the s3 is the 187 pan pickup.

And look what happens when one actually does the work of looking for one instead of the easy way out. They are out there if you just take the time to look....

No one asked you to do any heavy lifting, can't see why you'd be kicking about it.
Not everyone knows how to keyword google.

Nope...Not at all. Just "Surprise Surprise" when one does a little bit of effort in searching for items and "Bazinga" there it is.
