Lately Ive been looking at some Mr Norm cars for sale. Most of the ones Ive been looking at do not come with a build sheet. Alot of the GSD paperwork was collected at the time of the sale and has been packaged up at the dealer. Was it a common practice for Grand Spaulding Dodge to remove the build sheets from the cars? Does anyone have any information on this?

I don't think they removed them from the cars because I have mine as well as a few other of Mr Norms cars that I know about. If they did remove them I'm sure they would have kept it with the other paperwork. You can check with Mr Norm himself at mrnorm1013@aol.com He will answer your email although he's probably at Carlisle through the weekend.

When these new cars arrived at the dealership they were littered with paperwork inside the cars and trunk. Lots of broadcast sheets and other inspection forms etc. Some broadcast sheets were for the car, some were for other cars, some were blank. Usually the dealerships clerical department would ask the clean-up/prep people to bring them the paperwork. They would file it by stock number and when the car was sold the customer would be given the Federal stuff like emissions, braking distance info, etc. No dealer that I ever knew of took the seats out and removed broadcast sheets but there were certainly several sheets in every car.

This could not have been a Mr. Norm's car, he only sold Dodge's. Never Plymouth.

Mr. Norm doesn't know, I am with him this weekend at Carlisle. The remaining dealer jackets with paperwork are with Larry Wiener at Performance West Media Group in California. Norm might have taken a Duster in on trade and dyno tuned it before selling it as a used car, but he would have no paperwork other than what came with the trade-in. Some of the jackets have broadcast sheets, but most do not as I have been through the remaining files.
