I've been reading a lot about this product and it's benefits. My last trip to the track I couldn't put my fingers on the blower it was so hot and the car fell off quite a bit.
Any of you guys with a roots try one of these systems??Please share how it helped you out.
My junk is a 545 2nd gen Hemi, iron heads,1071 stage 3 BDS with a pair of SV1 carbs. Also how does this change o/2 and plug readings???

That is what it is designed for Al. I talked to Snow performance and the part #20010RTI stage two kit is what is needed for a dual carb setup. I told them it is for a 588" 14-71 roots blown Hemi and this is what they recommended. The guy also said that he uses 50/50 mix in his car. I have read many positive statements regarding the use of the system with great results.

I've been runing one for a few years now on my N/A 6-pack. It works. You'd need a dual plate system under your carbs. I'm sure if you call them they'll hook you up. And it's muuuucccccch cheaper than buying 110 at the track. Here's a N/A hemi dyno

Water/ alcohol mix is also used in diesels to help lower EGT's, and improve power and fuel mileage.

I use to mix Metanol and race gas together years ago, I found out real quickly that I had to drain the tank and run the fuel system dry between races do to Methanol and water mixing formed a very corrosive mixture that ate non hard anadised(SP?) aluminum parts up real quickly I would very tempted to try straight methanol versus mixing it with water OP, I've seen a blower motor on the dyno loose a hoop(80 +) of HP and torque when the manifold inlet temps. changed from 130 F to 190 F doing back to back pulls I should have had some big beach towels soak in water to cool the blower down between pulls to offset the heat from the boost

Did you guys really pull that motor all the way down to 2500 rpm and then make the pull all the way to 6500 for a 4000 rpm sweep.

That's off the snow performance website. I have no idea how they ran the pull.

Cab the inj kit is mostly plastic line aside from a pump and solinoid and the tank a washer fluid reservoir.

At some point I will make a BR power valve kit where the fuel/alky enters thru there and all you need is a tank, pump, switch. The blower at idle will make enough heat that it feels hot[around 140*F].

I use it. Can't really tell if it's worth a ton. I'd say maybe a tenth. I mix 50/50 methanol and water. I got it for safety when running pump gas on the street.I drilled the carb plates and added one nozzle under each carb.

To be honest I don't remember. I'm on vacation ,I'll look when I go home. I run an adjustable Hobbs pressure switch, currently set at 5PSI. No fancy electric controller. The plugs look like they come out of the box. I run stock jetted Carter Comp 750s. My AFR at wot is 11.8.
