m46rat top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,652 Calgary, Alberta Canada	Just take your original and send it to Glen Ray radiator. They will be at Carlisle, so you could deliver it in person if you want. They have done several for me, all with the correct core.

HPMike master H Joined: May 2005 Posts: 6,446 NJ-USA	Ive probably installed more than a dozen of these...I just get them from my local jobber..I believe they are Four Seasons brand. They are almost identical to the original and fit and function perfect. Never an issue with any of them.. None of the part is ever seen when in service so its really not all that critical to have every nuance be the same. Kinda like finding identical pistons.. Cost around 75 bucks.. MB

shakerjoe master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 3,000 Long Island, NY	I bought one from year one I don't know - 10 years ago when I bought a ton of stuff during a sale? Brand was ReadyAire I think ? FIT was doodoo - I had to trim and grind the metal flange around the body of core and redrill the holes to line up the outer boxes - I brought the old core(wasn't the original)to my local guy who does alot of old time stuff, he told me it wasn't worth it, would be too much...I still have it - didn't think about Glen Ray...wonder if they can fix the old one...then again I wonder if it is the original, there are #'s on it but they don't correspond to the parts book #'s - either way, I got the year one to fit but was a pita...

m46rat top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,652 Calgary, Alberta Canada	If I remember correctly, it was about 60 bucks for Glen Ray to recore one, plus shipping, you should get hold of them to find out for sure. That was a year or so ago. Bob would know if yours was original or not.
