i might be losing my mind lol, but aint 81-93 brake line's the same? I found a set of pbr brand front brake line's for my 81 d150 for cheap but they are for 89 d150, aint they all the same??

should be the same. when I started driving my '87, I replaced all the brake liones. when I did my V8 swap in my '88 last month, I swapped the '87 lines on my '88. same same.

ok lol well I was on rock auto an seen 1 of there brake line's fit 72-90 IIRC I was just not sure if there was a thread difference, would like to swap the brake line's while I got the front clip off the 2wd.. thanks again guy's

true... but the '87 was carbed with the mech pump, and the '88 was TBI with an electric pump.

Why would fuel lines make a difference with the brake lines? The only changes I could think of for brake lines was if the line fittings at the master changed when they changed the master cylinders. Seems I remember needing to add an adapter to one of the master cylinder fittings because the old one was too small (or was it too big ). Unfortunately, I've swapped so many masters and brake lines through the years, I have no idea what was swapped to what anymore. Gene
