I have looked and searched, are the Indy non roller bearing rockers any better quality than the other cheaper brand rockers ? Are they made in the USA ? I don't want to chance losing my engine over a broken rocker. Anyone with real-world experience with them, good or bad ? Thanks
If this has been covered elsewhere, point me there and I'll read it.

Well, I'm running a .650 lift roller cam and will shift around 7200, traps possibly 7400. The springs are 250 closed, not sure about when open.

same here. the problems i've experianced were 1x broke the wheel off the tip of the rocker, Josh replaced it for me, (cheers Josh), several have had adjuster problems but i'm onto that issue & know when to replace when the problem starts. i'll upgrade to either T&D's or HS's after this season. my springs are 600lbs open & i want to go more with a bigger cam but i'm not risking using Indys when i do.

I've used my Indy 1.6 rockers on a big solid then a fair sized roller they held up fine. Now they are spares got a used set of harland sharp broke two harland exhaust they said they had not made that model since 1998 using a smaller bearing now so they replaced all my exhaust rockers for $10 each exchange sweet deal!
Wow, that was a sweet deal ! Just to be clear, my Indy's are the non-roller bearing style, ride directly on the shafts. I wouldn't think that would be the problem though, as my Isky 1.6's were unbushed and they were like brand new when I took them off. I'd use them but with the 1.6 ratio the piston to valve clearance gets below minimum.
