wow, thats more than I would like to spend.

My cam is just a street solid roller grind.

I have crowers and they are ,903" and I have too much lifter to bore clearance.

I was wondering if any off the shelf solid roller lifter comes in a true ,904" diameter.

I just ran the P2843177, but they also are not a true 904.
I think they are .0005 under.

Why would you not just bush the lifter bores?

they are already bronze bushed but I have like 0.003 clearance at least.

I was wondering if I could get off the shelf roller lifters that are a true ,904"

but I guess IM gonna pull the trigger, remove the old bushings install new ones and incorporate an oiling hole given the bushings currently in my block are blind and I kinda dont like that. Id rather have some oil in there....cant hurt!

If your already bushed Domingo pushing new bushings in is definitely the way to go.

A few thousandths(for clearance) won't make any difference for what your wanting. It's a street car and not a super/stocker.. right?
Jesel makes a true 904 lifter. They run about 3k new. I have a couple sets of barely used
but they take *special block prep*..machining.

Like I said, I already have bronze lifter bushings n my block....and the clearance is more than 0.025"

I can fit a 0.0025" gauge in between the lifter bore and lifter.

Seems the true ,904" lifters are more expensive than replacing my lifter bushings so I guess Im gonna replace my lifter bushings.

In any case, my lifter bushings are also blind, so this time around Id like to incorporate a small lubrication hole in them.

Would you guys run it like this????

I'd trust the reading of a pair of dial calipers before I'd trust sticking a feeler gauge in there

For an accurate measurement, dial bore gauge

that is not the the best way to measure the clearance , an inside snap gauge would be better.

Or a barrel micrometer ( I hope that is the correct name of them), adjustable small hole gauge

I know thats not the right way of measuring the clearance.

But if I can stick a feeler gauge thats 0,0025" in there common sense tells me that actual clearance is even more than that.

I just did that quickly when I noticed it had a lot of slop, since using my dial caliper is kinda hard on there.....

I would do it with a dial bore gauge....if I had one handy.

Ill take it to the machine shop to get an accurate measurement with a dial bore gauge before doing anything else....

I cant get an accurate measurement with a caliper.
