M1 "337" intake? #1454734

stupid ? but which way is the M1 insignia on the manifold supposed to face front or rear of engine?it looks like you could flip the intake either way and shouldnt make a diff and no dist coil hold down on either end.... is there a preferred position?

On all the intakes I've seen, the carb pad slopes down towards the front of the engine.

not on this intake there is no slope............

Exactly, on my Victor manifold I tried it both ways looking for the best port alingment then port matched it............

sounds like the most logical way of determinning position.

As you know, casting flaws can be crazy so mine was way better one way and I port matched it from there. Have fun..........

All my other M1 intakes including smallblock (they fit one direction only) have the logo in front.
