Has anyone created there own clearance on a non 187 oil pan in an A body. I just bought a Jegs oil pan, looks like a nice one. During mock up i realized that it will need clearancing, anyone know how much, how deep, anything else?

Its already clearenced for the steering linkage, it should be a direct bolt on and hold 4 1/2 to 5 quarts.

the pan i have is not a 187 pan. if there is a drawing or instructions as to where or how deep to dent it i,d appreciate it.
