I am using QA1 on mine, single adjustable. Has 12 settings from soft to very firm. Not cheap though. About $150 each. You could try the Bilsteins too. Firm Feel carries them. Also about the same price. Good shocks do get expensive. If on a tighter budget some parts store Monroes are still way better than what was on these cars when new.

I had the now defunct Edelbrock IAC shock and was happy with them. I've stepped up to the Bilstein RCD shock, but no road time yet. Firm Feel sells 'em $400 per set. PM if you are interested in the Eddies.

Agree a good parts store gas shock will get the job done with stock or moderately upgraded suspension. I run KYB's on my E. Reasonable cost but they aren't known for good ride. If/when I step it up it will be Bilstiens.

I like Monroe shocks on my 340 Demon quite a bit. O'Reilly usually has them on hand. KYB shocks are good, but they seemed a bit firm for me for the street. They do hold up well over the long term though. Bilsteins are the best...but $$$$.
