Well I haven't posted in a while and I figured I would share a few things. The cam we have is a .590 mopar purple shaft. The heads are a generation 1 w2 econo. It does not have a 2.08 intake valve. There deffiently not maxed ported. They are opened up pretty good on the exhuast port for some reason. If the intake ports were touched it would have to be little to none. It does have alittle bit of bowl blending work done. Basically just had a mixed matched setup and some worn out parts. Going to try and put the same basic package back together if I can for the most part. Going to use same small 750 proform and maybe try a 850 holley. I have the same junk headers I am going to use again. Still have the M-1 intake and going to open up the dinky size ports on them to match heads. I have the same crap distributor to use but all the parts I have atleast work to get the car back out. I am going to go on the approach of making 1 change at a time and see what the cause/effect is.

Is this a stock stroke 340? .
I don't know what the rpm peak will be, but somewhere right near the moon would be my guess.

Yes sir stock stroke lol. It's a stock bore to but I am waiting to see if I can get away with a hone job and use my trw pistons or have to bore it and by new ones.

After I find out what we can do with the block I am going to buy what we need like rod, main, cam bearings. Clevite for bearings. Need a new timing chain and I am looking at the comp cams racing timing chain. Anyone have good luck with them or ever use one? Getting new valve springs. Just getting the springs mopar reccomends for .590 cam. Looking at the Moroso 20710 8 qt oil pan. Hopefully it's a decent pan because thats all I can afford! Just going to relap valves as long as they are find and dandy. Just looking to get things back together and go have fun!!
