Hey guys! I need to know what moulding/trim goes on the area between the drip rail moulding and the chrome piece that goes inside and covers the headliner edge, It was missing from my car when I got it and I have no idea what goes there? Does it hold the weatherstrip? weatherstrip glue to it? Any Help is welcomed Thanx!!!

I know the part your talking about.. it goes on the pillar. I am talking about the piece that goes where the door surround weatherstrip goes. The inner moulding covers the edge of the headliner and then there is a whole other set of screw hole that run along the upper door surround and then on the outside is the drip rail. I have no idea what the piece(s) look like as they were not there when I started.

YES, although with the sun glare its a lil hard to see , Yes that is the piece I am talking about! What is it called? and what exactly does it look like? and does the weatherstrip fit into it, or is it held on by this "moulding"? and how many pieces are there to it? Thanx for the help, This piece was not on car when I started so I have absolutely no idea what it is supposed to look like or how it fits.
Thanx for the pic MARKZ528

THats the weatherstrip retainer channel. It also acts as a garnish between the drip rail and the vent wing extending the length of the roofline. I realized I lost mine on the convertible I'm doing. The convert has an abbreviated channel that only covers windshield pillar post.
I will look if I have an extra pair for hardtop. CCK
