Have a 2009 Ram with the My Gig system - this morning when trying to listen to Sirius the display showed "Module Failure". FM radio is fine, did not check any other functions.

I found very little on this topic with internet searches, but one site indicated a bad antenna? Don't want to take this to the dealer, truck is long since out of warranty and I can't leave it with them for a day (or incur the costs) right now. Besides, the service guys at my local dealer are jerks. Parts guys are great, service? I'd rather go to the dentist...

Any thoughts?

Disconnect satellite antenna cable. If message is gone and radio now says "updating channel" or "searching" than problem is with antenna or its wiring.
If still says "module failure", problem is in radio.

Gary.
