318/833od in a 1972 d100. 10.5" clutch

I ordered a flywheel today for the 318. I'm going to order the weights for when I go 360.

Looking for a clutch that's going to handle the 360 when it's done. Something that grips, but doesn't require me to stand on the pedal to budge it. My budget is under $300. Not looking to buy RIGHT NOW, but wanting to do some research before I just buy one. Thanks in advance

Centerforce dual friction is my recommendation. It is over your $300.00 ceiling, but it's worth it. I have an 11" in my W100. It started behind a 408" small block, but the cast eagle crank broke, so I put a stockish 360 in it and now it has a 485 horse 440 in it. The clutch has never slipped to my knowledge and it's holding up well. I haven't always been nice to it either. And the pedal feel is better than the stock borg and beck style.

the clutch isn't going to give you the popeye leg, it's the pressure plate.

I run the CF in my 440 4 speed.Been in at least 13 years.Still hooks great and has light pressure.I did use a Timken TO bearing as the Cf one went bad.Rocky

thats going to be a fun combo, thats what my truck had when i bought it years ago. 360/833OD i think it had a hayes clutch. i liked it. Beat the hell out of that trans and it never gave me an issue i dont know why it isnt more popular
