[quoteOuch! That definitely doesn't sound good. Especially when they advertise them as bolt-on out of the box!

Bolt-on....there's a phrase I love.

The same mo-fo that thought up that one, also came up with "plug'n'play".

Once you modify everything around it, yup, that sucker bolts/plugs right in there

I have had not issues with rockers fitting or working with 4 sets of LA and big block RPMs used. the valve job issues are commen, and on everyone's heads. They can be bolted on and run, but they frankly aren't that good that way...lol

For that type of defect, I'd send them back. Why wait 2 years to do it tho? Or did you just get them TB?

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

That's why "bolt on" is always in quotes. The quotes MEAN SOMETHING.

hi
I just want to recite that old adage I hear sometimes:

"Judge a man's character not by the mistakes he makes, but how well he acknowledges and fixes those mistakes."

Take 'em back. Unless you seal those bolts, you'll have an exhaust leak, be it minimal or whatever.

It's not core shift. I've never spoken to Vic himself but I recently sent them a SB supervictor intake that was improperly machined and they were very easy to deal with and correct the situation.

I bought these heads for my 97 Grand Cherokee 390 project that I will get going sometime next year... I have not really looked at them closely as they are still in the original packaging but I had to get something out of the storage area and I decided to check them out...... Overall they look pretty nice but the blot hole breakthrough looks like a no go to me..... I will call Edelbrock and send them a few pix or a link to this thread. I'm sure they will take of me being the long time customer that I am right? TBF
