When you run a Big Buck Box/No Box Bonanza race are you allowed to use a two step or just footbrake? This will be our first time running a Big Buck Box/No Box Bonanza race. this might be a dumb question but you never know.

Thanks Jamie, George asked Chasity to come up and run the Big Buck Box/No Box Bonanza this weekend at Quaker City, it is 1/8th mile, Melissa wanted to race it also. this will be different but could be fun too. See how it goes.

The web page does not say anything about two steps just throttle stops and trans brakes are ok. Guess we will find out when we get up there

They probably just overlooked that assuming that most people that use transbrakes also use 2-steps. They are for sure allowed this weekend at Quaker City's no box race.

Generally "No Box" means anything but a delay box...so 2 steps, air shifters, and trans brakes are allowed, but it's always best to either call the track or look for a brochure for the race.
You guys should come up to Norwalk in 2 weeks as well. 3 days of racing, 30K plus purse all guaranteed for $99.

It wasn't bad, Chasity went 4 rounds got down to 7 cars that will give you a good idea of car count. That was a surprise low car count. WE heard they were having Light issues. Hope they get the lights fixed. Heard the racers were boycotting the race due to the light and time slip issues. Melissa ran 7.20, 7.21 every pass was happy with that.. She did the dial for dollar dialed 7.20 ran a 7.21. Girls ran each other first round that was exciting. Don't normally get to race each other. Here are some pictures

Glad to see all went well, and 4 rounds isn't nothing to sneeze at, the more she runs the car the better she will do.

I went on Sunday with Wafflebatter. They have some timing issues for sure..but we had fun anyway. I went out in the 3rd round -.008 red after rolling 10 out of the box and Wafflebatter went down to three cars. Looks like they are trying there...I had issues getting down the right lane but it could be in my set-up. Nice people and they thanked us for coming

5.53 @ 125 1/8th on the launch control..more left in her!

Click on the attachment. I think this was Melissa more of the high for the weekend. LOL She may have been thinking of it more then racing lol.The body was above her. It is gray metalflake with skulls on it. Has a pink parachute. If things go well over the winter this will be her new ride next season. She will be driving also for Connie & George Jobe. We met their hole family very awesome people. They even put Bratt Racing on the back of the car Chasity is driving.

Yes, GM in it now, however, in the corner is a 440 that is going in the car. He bought it with GM motor. It will be a MOPAR motor. lol
