Are all the 2013 ram 1500 Hemi equipped trucks rated at 390 HP? I recently came across one advertised with 345 HP. I think that it is simply a typo but I want to make sure.
Also, how well do the 2WD Ram 1500 equipped with locking differental do in snow? Are they good enough to give up my existing 4WD and go with a 2WD in everyday driving with some snow in the winter? I won't be using it for off roading such as camping, fishing, etc. Just simple in town driving in snowy conditions.

I think the 2013's actually received a bump from 390 (rating on 5.7 since 09) to 395. 345 HP was from 03-08.
Being that you're in New Mexico, I think 2wd would be fine for the amount of snow you receive (it can't be much). A little bit of weight and snow tires does wonders for a 2wd

I just bought a '13 Ram 4wd and traded my 03 Ram 2wd. I ran winter tires on the 2wd and we had record snowfall last winter and I didn't get stuck once. You'll be fine down there. 395hp also on the '13.
