I am posting some pics of my project that I have been working on. Last year I bought back a 440 from a friend that I had built a couple years before. After looking my truck over, I just couldn't bring myself to put a nice clean engine into a greasy, nasty engine compartment. So here is the mess I have gotten myself into.... Sorry Larry, the wife had a few things for me to do. I should be able to come down mid week, my work schedule is light next week. I'll call ya.

Thanks Redraptor! I finally got some time this week to put the clutch, bell, and 4 speed on the engine. The weekend before I cleaned up the frame and got all that painted. It's not as nice as a lot of your guys trucks, but it's still in the works and I plan on driving it a lot. Here is a pic of some progress. [image] [/image] [image] [/image]

That is very nice. Clean and neatly done. My project may be a little rougher as I am filling in most of the holes in the firewall with sheet steel. My Ramcharger is destined for drag race only. Speaking of the brake booster, I cut the unit in half, reduced the diammeter by 80% and have welded the two halves together to make a mount for the two bolt aluminum master cylinder to the four bolt firewall. Manual brakes for me. I got the M/C from Dr. Diff along with the adjustable pushrod.

Update on the truck. I've been working on the bodywork over the winter. Straightened the fenders, put them in epoxy primer and high build primer, block sanded and repeat.... [image] [/image] [image] [/image] [image] [/image] Hood [image] [/image] tailgate

I've started on the bed but have decided to weld up the front gas hole. Now I'm taking it over to get the bed and the underside blasted. I am also welding up the seam at the taillight housings. We just got finished with C notching the frame and am waiting for my NEW mustang gas tank to fab up. Will have pics shortly on that. [image] [/image]
