I have a friend with a 69 Charger big block, automatic, A/C car with a 26 inch radiator. He is in need of vendor suggestions for good aluminum and copper options that you all have had success with. He needs to replace the complete radiator and numbers matching does not matter.

We live in Arizona so maximum cooling is imperative.

Thoughts???

Thanks for your help in advance.

"Champion" alum rad 3 or 4 core. shroud/properly spaced thermal clutch fan (blades 1/2 way into the shroud iirc). A smaller WP pulley will spin faster & also let you run a larger crank pulley for even more pump speed & side bennie of more alt speed. Anticav plate on the pump vanes. 8 blade pump. Can press the vanes rearward on the shaft to get .040" clearance (support the other side of the shaft when pressing it) & add the anticav plate first as it goes between the vanes & pump (on a BB) where that clearance is. Can mill the front pump housing face where the 4 bolt holes are to reduce vane to housing clearance then space the WP pulley out (forward) to compensate keeping gasket thickness in mind (want .040" clearance) for a more efficient pump

I used Glen Ray for the rad in my 69 GTX. I could not be happier with the results.
