I have the hood hinges off my Duster about to send out to get "Refurbished" when I noticed excessive wear on the pins the hood hinges attach to that go through the door frame pillar posts.My question is,Should I punch out those pins and replace them,weld them up and turn them back down or not worry about them at all????When I get the hinges back,I will have a correct size hole where the hinges slide onto the mounting pins.Am I being to fussy as to worry about proper hood closure and alignment problems????? I can feel a noticeable amount of wear on the pins.Anybody have a similar situation??? Apparently ,over the years,someone must have opened the hood of the Duster many times to have caused the wear or maybe the pins are just soft..Anybody????
