Does anyone make a set? Not what's listed in catalogs, on websites or what the guy on the tech line says. So far I have a sets from Crane, Isky and Crower that were "definitely .903" but weren't. Thanks.

what are you using to measure it and are you checking it against what ever those things are called that one uses to check accuracy ... the name slips me at the moment

I have a set of crane solid rollers that measure about .9035-.9037 so it's possible.

Do you have tight bores ?

A Starrett mic and dial bore gauge.

Tight bores? In the world of Mopars, yes. Since the engine is in the car and only receiving a cam swap, enlarging the bores is not an option.

I have a forty year assortment of used lifters that almost all measure .903" to .9035" in non-worn areas. Everything I have of recent manufacture has been .9038", a set of Comps made in 2006 (a bad year for flat tappets) are .904" to 9048", some vary almost that much top to bottom on the same lifter.

I need to rephrase my question. Does anyone have a recently manufactured flat solid lifter that measures .903"-.9035"? If so, I need to know the brand. The cam makers either don't know or simply lie.

The smallest ones I have measured are sold by scorpion. They are slightly under .903

The older mopar perf lifters were .9035

Checking OEM lifter manufacturer's specifications back to 1980, the MoPar LA and B/RB hydraulic and mechanical lifter O.D. was specified as .9035" -.9040". Regards, Chase

Just found the factory specs for the 1956-1966 A-series poly lifters, and they are also .9035-.9040". You might contact the folks at Topline / Hylift Johnson in Brooksville, FL. They might be able to help you with some custom pieces. Regards, Chase

Most of the time we see wore lifter bores. and problem is oil pressure bleed off . with that said. I was surprised at My new comp lifters being to tight in the bores. I had to hone them out. I did not measure them .

Just measured a set of B998 solid Hylift Johnsons.... .904-.9042 on the money. I think Trend has .903, but you'll pay dearly for them as compared to standard typical offerings as seen here.
