Has there been any improvement in the quality of interior door panels? I know there are lengthy threads on this in here but I am hoping (actually praying) that there has been a break through and someone is actually shipping a good product. My brite blue interior panels are turning to dust from ultraviolet light exposure. Fit is most important to me, grain next, and looking OEM last. Ideally I would like all three but if I have to settle, fit is most important. Thanks, Craig Craig

AS of yet nothing but garbage out there. I am hoping HEMICUDA will decide to make correct ones. He probable gets tired of me asking, so why don't you start bugging him as well
Mark, you're not bugging me since everytime you call I get you to buy something else.

If you keep an eye on the dreaded ebay you will find some. I held out on some until I found a set for a good price and still in nice shape. I was looking for black so I think that made it easier.
Blue is almost impossible to find in good shape. I think Moparts member HemiGreg has been looking for years...I have as well. I bought some blue Palcos in the meantime and could not be more disappointed in them. What a waste of $$$.

For some reason or another, black dashes and and black door panels seem to have held up better than any of the colors or white. Thanks for all your input. PLEASE, someone come up with a good aftermarket replacement. Craig

If fit is your main objective why not have Just Dashes redo them?
Or find good/decent black ones and dye/paint them.

I had my white door panels and seat backs redone by Just Dashes earlier this summer. They look fantastic! You get a brand new surface over your original that fits like it is supposed to. The only complaint I've read from the purists is that the resulting grain texture and edges are slightly softer than the originals. When you consider the lack of viable alternatives, going with Just Dashes is the best solution for the majority of non-OE Gold seekers...
Until total honesty is on the table, we're not even talking about reality...

Is there better solution than JD in regards to fit? I think the JD stuff isn't a perfect fit either though because the covering goes around the edge lip and makes it thicker.

depending on just how dusty-crusty they are,I have had good success with this method: Using a fine media like glass or fine sand, stay back a good distance and lightly and quickly blast the surface. It is amazing how the dry dusty junk disappears, and leaves the grain intact. Then wash, clean etc thouroughly before respraying with SEM or other dyes. This also works well on kick panels and A pillar mouldings.Don't get to close or agressive when blasting !!Of course this method depends on just how bad the panels are,but I have done this many times with good results.

Thanks, I will try that with a really bad panel I picked up on Ebay and see how it comes out. If it looks good, the ones in the car will look great. But I am feeling that the ones in the car may be headed for California for redoing. Just my luck, I will sink money into them and someone comes out with a panel that fits. Murphy's law always applies. Thanks to all for the input and to the repop suppliers out there, take note, no one is happy with your product, fix it. Craig
