Looking to get a good replacement for the factory carpet for my 68 300 and would like to know who's got good stuff, good fit, correct look etc. Thanks for any input.
Ken.

I used Legendary on my 70E a few years ago. Carpet was the better grade loop type. I also got a fabric headliner and rear seat upholstery and foam. I had it all installed at a trim shop. Results were excellent and it has held up well.

I've used both ACC and Trim Parts carpet sets, no problems with either. Liked them both.

Thanks for your input guys. Here is a link to some good "carpet supplier discussion" I got from another site, in case someone here has the same questions I had. http://cbodydrydock.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?146837.0

I used Trim Parts and it was a terrible fit.

Do a Google search at the top of the page for carpet. There are lots of old threads discussing the various manufacturers.

I replaced carpet in my 68 Charger from one of the other companies. It fit terrible and I had to do a lot of trimming. I put legendary's carpet in my 67 Coronet and it fit almost perfectly. It was preformed, had insulation. The other didn't have any of these traits.

I used ACC for my convertible, fit was perfect. No complaints.

This is interesting, some say they tried ACC and it was junk, then tried Trim Parts and it was great, then some say just the opposite. All I can think is that it depends on when you guys purchased your carpets as to the quality, or maybe each company has models they do well and some they don't. whatever the case it looks like a crapshoot at best. Thanks for all the input.
Ken.
