Well we finally got the car to hook and go down the track. It went 4.43 @ 170 at Cecil County. We ONLY went 1.17 60' due to taking alot of power out of the car to leave w/o smoking the tires. The engine has 27* of total timing and we took 20* out for 3 seconds! Also, the tach broke the pass before, so we had no idea where to shift; I am sure it was short shifted. The car will go 4.20's w/o much problem once we get the 60' down to 1.0's, and bring the power in a little quicker. For those who are interested, the engine is just a 526 B1/TS headed engine w/ a PSI ROOTS blower. It is backed by a Lenco trans and DANA 60. The car weighs in at 2850#. Here is a video of the pass, we went up against the guy who set a NOS record in O/L 10.5 going a 4.12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD23GTuPecg

Nice job.....
Why a roots and wedge instead of a HEMI and screw.....rules???
Couple different reasons....alot cheaper being primary, can weigh 300# less than the screw, did I mention, alot cheaper....a Hemi w/ a "C" screw runs about $50K used w/ fuel system, MAG, etc, ours is $25K.
Another reason is that we want to go just as fast, but with alot less!

Another reason is that we want to go just as fast, but with alot less! PLEASE tell me you didn't just say that. Blame it on not logging out on your computer and someone trying to get you in trouble. I can see all the HEMI guys now texting and calling their Friends and lining up a special Mother day meeting to have you banned from the Mopar society. The guys in the white jackets will be arriving at your home to have you committed for being crazy.
