Yup. most likely you need a 143 tooth wheel.

what wheel did you use? a 1995 360 should be a magnum engine, and the Magnums have their own special balance factor. And the only flywheels that come with the Magnum's balance are 143 tooth wheels, unless you buy one of the MP 130 tooth ones that do not have the windows for the crank position sensor, intended for a carb only motor.

is this engine running on a carb, or on the factory EFI?

My 93 Dakota used the 143 flywheel with the 10 1/2 clutch. I believe the v8 got the 11 inch clutch. Find a flywheel with your clutch size and have a shop. Balance it to the 72 specs. Its what I had to do when I put a 360 in my powerwagon

wait....the engine is a 1972 360? or a 1995 360?

I'm confused...

what engine are you using, LA or Magnum, what vehicle are we talking about, and what transmission are you using?

He says he is using a 72 360. I assume he is using the 95 trans in the Dakota which is why his flywheel is to small..

I had a shop balance a flywheel so I could put a LA360 in my truck
