Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to find replacement calipers, rotors and pads for a 73-74 Chrysler Imperial 9 1/4 rear end?

So looking at the rockauto site it appears for 1974 the rear caliper for the C-body was the same as teh A-body front caliper? Can anyone confirm this?

I had two which I just scrapped

Rockauto carries them

1970 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi Orange U-code 4-speed
1971 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 V-12 4-speed 2+2 Signal Red.

bohmer,

There is no such thing as a Chrysler Imperial. Imperials were a separate division until 1975 when they closes.

73 Imperial is a completely different car than 74 Imperial. 73 is a Y, body 74 is a C body.
73 had 8 3/4 rear and no disc brake option. 74 had a 9 1/4 rear with optional disc.

Pad`s and caliper`s are a-body . I put a complete used set ,mount`s , backing plate`s ,rotor`s ,caliper`s , all cable`s for sale and didnt even get one bite . I thought it would be worth something . People say they are hard to find and unabtainable . Maybe Imperial guy`s just pinch off the line`s and use just the front brake`s . Andy

Thanks for the information, I am not a C-body guy obviously (and definitely not a Y body guy apparently). I appreciate the sharing of knowledge.

The place to find (or move) these types of unique parts is on www.cbodydrydock.com or other C-body oriented sites. Moparts doesn't have a lot of c-body action, and the c-guys are the only ones that are really going to want/need/have the Imperial discs.
