In an earlier post someone mentioned that a single list of vin #s for lost & found Engines & Trans would be helpful.

When I checked the L&F section of the board I found that going through 11 pages of info was somewhat laborous. So I have compiled a single sheet in an Excel spreadsheet format of all the vins of the L&F Engines and Trans with contact information. Realize that some of this information is dated and may be years old. But if your looking for a start on your search this may help. I tried to be as accurate as possible.

I will update this info weekly.

Hope this helps out somebody.

Please continue to use the Lost & Found section of Moparts web page for posting. I will update my sheet from that page.

Frank

(edit) If someone needs something corrected on this sheet PM me with the vin # and the corrected information.

Awesome work. This is a much easier format to read. Moderators, can we get a "Sticky" please?

Fantastic Job.
Very well done.
I will make sure to enter and engine and trans in L&F so they get on here.

Not to be greedy, but...Maybe Sheet 2 is Broadcast Sheets???

Wow! I'm impressed! Nice work!

*As a side note, strange as it may be, the Hemi 4 speed trans VIN I posted does in fact have a "G" stamped where you inserted a ?

"Broadcast Sheets"!!!!! OUCH!!!!!

Well, lets see how this goes. I spent about 12-13 hours inputting the data on the engines and trans' so it would be easy to read and mainitain. I checked the broadcast sheet section and they are divided by body type (that helps me)but there are a lot more.

I did notice that at least 1 person (I didn't go through all the sheets) was looking for his broadcast sheet, engine and trans. Well when I checked the lost and found for engines and trans' his wasn't listed. Just a suggestion...folks should post engine and tran's wanted seperate from the boradcast sheets lost and found.

It may help in thier search.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Frank

Frank - nice work and appreciated.

I've been a member here for quite some time and didn't know there was a L/F. Suggest getting the mods to make the L/F an element of the main index.

Go to Engine and Trans Lost & Found and reply to any of the posts and list your wanted or found engine or transmission.

Nick,

Go to the "Main Index" then down to "Moparts Club and Registry". There you will find the L&F section.

If you enter your information there I will incorporate it into my spreadsheet. I will do this on a weekly basis for new information.

As far as loading it onto your web page the only problem may be that when a non Moparts member clicks onto the link that takes him to a personal page, I don't know if non-members can get in. But if you want to post it be my guest. I just hope it doesn't open a can of worms where the entire WWW will start flooding the site with info (good and bad).

I just completed this today so if you would't mind, can we wait for a little while (maybe 2 weeks) to see how this goes. I keep thinking of that commercial where we watch the internet hits hit 6,000,000 in about 15 minutes.

Frank
