hey guys Im upgrading to Wilwood 4 piston front & rears disc brakes on my A body and was looking for advice on the following:

i. Who is using this setup on a street car? Mine has the OEM
style dust seal caliper that clear 15" wheels.
ii. What disc/disc MC bore size did ya 'all use and how did it
work pedal wise and braking wise ?
iii. My brake pedal has two holes for the MC pushrod, I'm
guessing one give 6:1 for man brakes and the other is for
boosted brakes, which is what the car had ex factory (they
DID come unboosted as well)
iv. I have a prop valve - in which line should I mount it and
where?

Ive seen so much conflicting info on here and other sites that its a joke.

Any tips /advice would be much appreciated thanks fellas...

street car? autocross car? road course only car? combination car?

what kind of prop valve? stock? put it in the stock location.

manualy adjustable by turning the knob? put it in the line to the rear brakes, if you want you can set it up to be right next to the driver's seat with the knob sticking up inside the car so you can adjust it on course if needed.

Its a street/strip car.

Aftermarket prop valve with man adjustable knob. Ive read a lot of the other threads and whilst some are OK, many are conflicting. So Im wondering if anyone is running this combo and how it is working for them?

Thanx

I switched from drums to Wilwood, along with manual MC. I tried 1 1/16 bore and peddle was too hard and not enough pressure. I called Dr. Diff and he sent me out a 15/16 with adaptor. It works much better with less effort. The line locks even locked the front tires, where as before it pushed through before.

I didn't say 'drag race only'. I said "what are the drag racers using?" as 'strip' means 'drag racing', 'course' means 'road course or autocross', pay attention.
