scratchnfotraction I Live Here S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 15,487 Florida	a/c WP pulley is 4-5 inch diameter non a/c WP pulley is 6-7 inch diameter the a/c pulley spins the wp impeller faster so a 6 vane is used. the larger non a/c pulley spins the wp slower so a 8 vane pump is used both should flow the same X amount of water at idle. it is possiable for the 8 vane pump to cavitate at high rpm when used with the smaller/faster a/c pulley.
