Chevy's red headed step child ?

I think of EIIEEIIE being a mopar head .HEMI for sure is.
Just curious of what the MOPAR FANATICS think? The Predator is not legal for any of the x275 or ultra275 heads up classes .

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Its a BBC based head adapted for Mopar. Guys will argue this all day long though.

Well im not a FANATIC but the Chrysler corporation was using splayed valve polysphere heads years before the conventional big block chevy was designed to replace the worthless W 348/409 configuration.

Closer to a 429-460 BB Ford head. Who cares, once you get to the point of needing them everything is aftermarket anyway. Id go with whatever makes the power.

If you really want to stir the pot why not ask what a W8-W9 head is.

The way I look at it, Predator heads can bolt onto to stock 440 block.

Well since the premis of the question seems to be the valve layout I think that answer is rather obvious....

I sense a " snake in the woodpile" here.....

B Rad has some extra virgin 915 castings, just go with those...

Predators have the potential to make good power. Several made 1200+ and I'm still working on the combination. I must admit though....I'm sorry to say, it would be a lot easier with a GM deal. They have stuff on one carb that makes 1200. I'm just not enamored with the location of the distributor, but getting closer to the reality of the higher HP situation with Mother Mopar being pretty bleak. That is unless you have the money for Pro Stock or Comp.
