kotacars OP member K Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 126 mass	My 387 ci pump gas engine did 612 hp and 538tq with a rich tune on carb so I just can not help to think there is more left in it.

Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,346 Bend,OR USA	My pump gas Duster street motor made 1.4 HP per C.I., almost the same ratio torque It made my 3450 lb. street car run 9.96 at 134.7 MPH through the mufflers with the air cleaner on It was a pleasure using that car and base motor to learn what it takes to make a pump gas motor run that fast at that weight, it does take more than juts HP Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Until very recently, when Ferarri came out with their 458 (?) V8, the s2000 was the highest HP per cube ov any engine ever factory built. 2HP per cube. 11:1CR, 9000rpm, V-tech driveability. 13 second car at around 2800lbs if i remember right? No shame in respecting that...
