Are there two similar MSD ready to run style Distributors? One's got digital timing and advance and VA, rev limit, different curves, and the other?? I, and a few others here have the first one and everyone? seem's to like them.
I've only seen one kind. Mine had no rev limiter.

I use it. Only issue I had was I had to mill the head some to get it to fit. It is a quality unit. No need for a box or ballast resister. Cleans up the engine compartment some.
OH yeah, been so long since I did mine I forgot about this added bonus.. Good thing there is alot of meat on the head in that area..

Are you talking about a MSD Digital E-Curve distributor. It does what the ready to run does, but with a built in rev limiter also.

Yes, two different units. "Ready to Run" is different than the "E-curve".
The "E-curve" is the one to get if it fits in the budget. It is fully digital including the vacuum advance so you can really get the tune dialed in correctly. No need to run an external box so that saves money, weight and space.

I have run one in the past. It is very nice quality and work well. However I always think the price is a tad high.
Have you looked at one of those firecore50 distributors. A very good unit and cheaper too.
