A converter and drag radials would make a huge difference. I bet the converter would help with the drive by wire issues. I would think mid 12's with a converter and drag radials
true...there was a guy on one of the newer charger forums with an AWD charger that put I think a 3000 stall converter in his 2011 charger, and he dropped 3-4 tenths in the quarter, and was running 13.30's after the mod...his only other performance mods were a cat back and intake, which don't add much (maybe 10-15 RWHP)....this was before the computer was cracked....not bad for a 4400 lb beast....
oh, and to who asked if the camaro and mustang are this heavy,
challengers are listed at 3834 for the V6, 4082 for the R/T, 4160 for the SRT8.
the ZL1 camaro V6 is 3780lbs, SS is 3860lbs, ZL1 is 4050 lbs
mustang V6 coupe curb weight is 3523/3501 (auto/man), GT coupe is 3675/3618 auto/man, GT500 is 3852lbs, conv is about 120lbs heavier in all cases...
what's an 06 AWD LOADED Magnum R/T?

I planned to put my 2009 Challenger R/T on the track scale, but it was broke and although they were working on it, they never got it up and working. My friend wanted to weigh his 572 Hemi Daytona also as it was his first time with it. I expect his is around 2300 lbs (old pro stock chassis), and mine is likely over 4100 with the leather interior and spare tire options... plus add my 230 lbs and 4400 race weight is not out of the question.
