I went 6 rounds today on my first day out with the DART. I even won money, runner up in the finals Best time was 6.54 @ 106.05, 1/8 mile. I was running around those guys on the big end

First round qualifier, left lane, after the stripe, brakes pulled hard left, corrected into right lane, slightly sideways, almost hit by the other racer  . Bled brakes in the pits, I was good to after that .

Remember first time out, I am still learning the car. 60 foots got better as the day moved on... started out with a 1.77, and ended up around 1.50 to 1.56. Best 60ft. of the day was 1.49
 It wouldn't suprise me with that 1/8 MPH your car will 60 ft in the low 1.40 One of the very good Mopar sponsered old time SS racers told me to focus on the first 100 ft. of the track, he said if you do that the rest of the track will take care of itself    My old Duster would run 6.41 at 105.6 MPH at the local 1/8 mile track, Madras, at 2500 FT elevation, low 1.40 here and 1.39 at sea level

It is a 5200 stall converter. I get on the converter as much as my brakes allow me to, 3000 to 3200 rpm.
As I get use to the car I am hoping the 60 foots will improve a little more.

Ed, I plan to show up with this new can of GRAPE SODA, and hang out with you all at Cecil or MIR in the PITS. Thats where the all the LOVE is anyway. The Superbee is on the auction block on ebay.

FOURTH TIME OUT, still getting use to the car... A dial in is hard right now, 60 foots are now 1.42 to 1.45, I hope to have a handle on this soon, any tips  , I guess more practice to get consistent on ET.

I should have worked on the rear shock extension more on the better tracks, but I didn't
