What brand oil filters you use on your classics. Just wondering what may be the best out there. I have heard bad things latley about Fram.

Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

Hastings here, I'm not saying they are the best, but plenty good enough. They might be the best, I haven't tried other filters in a long time.

I have been using them on everything from heavy trucks to lawn mowers and never a problem for 20 years now.

I also know and have a salesman for them and he does surveys for me. List all my equipment and list all the numbers for all filters, air, oil, trans, cabin, fuel, small equipment and more.

Hastings does good for me.

I used to use nothing but Fram with no problems, but changed to K&N because of all the bad reports about Fram...

Napa Gold/Wix

Napa Gold (made by Wix), I buy them in the Spring during the Farm Filter Sale and stock up, makes them pretty cheap. No issues.

Fram, up to 10 years ago. Since then Purolator and WIX.

Best deal on WIX if you buy in volume.

On the Concorde w/3.5 I use K&N for the simplicity of removal courtesey of the nut welded on the filter end. Everything else gets the napa no name filter, still made by wix though.

Wix and BRAND NAME WIX. They use a heavier steel for the case. they machining on the threads are much better. The filter is better quality. The spring in the filter is really a spring not a bent piece of flat steel. NO CARDBORD!!!
