Tell me who in norhern California does a great job rechroming wheels.
I have a set of Western wheels that came on the LRE that I got. They are in bad shape and will have to be stripped and rechromed.

Anybody have someone they can recommend.

Thanks guys, Larry

Hello Larry,
The shops that do chrome plating have certainly dwindled over the years. When i had the bumpers rechromed for the Charger, I used Sacramento Bumper in the Army Depot complex off of 47th avenue. I don't know if they are still in business. When looking for chrome service, use these words: Chrome Plating .
Other options, Sherms is one of the best in the state, but be prepared to dish out the duckets. Stockton wheel is another option.
Good luck.

I believe chroming wheels is a more difficult process then say bumpers and the regular chrome plater might not be up to the task. The problem is getting chrome into the dish of the wheel.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

I checked with Stockton Wheel and they want $275 per wheel. The salesman said they have to cut the dish out of the wheel, chrome both parts and then weld them back together. I guess if they don't do it that way they can't clean it well enough to get the chrome to stick.

Does anyone know someone who may be able to do it for less money. Even in southern California.

Thanks guys, Larry

Bolton has always done me a decent job - not the best but they are fairly priced for what you get.
