a friend is building a budget 318.he found pitting in 1 of the cylinders,it is .002 to.0025 deep in one spot.he had it checked for cracks and there are none.he was trying to get away without boring and new pistons.is it possible to hone it out.or bite the bullet and bore/hone,new pistons.
