69 would have been using the three piece kickdown linkage rods.
That's a single rod linkage, from the 70's applications.
Don't have a picture for you to compare.
But GOOGLE is your friend.

That is the correct one and the only part that is paintedd is the part bolted to the intake , everything else is plated in some color that is NOT orange ...

Great, so I can leave the rest of it the color as is? Supposedly it is nickel coated.

You need to look at a service manual.. I went through this when I misplaced my 440/727 kickdown linkage on my 67 coronet.. 3 or 4 different kickdown linkage designs depending on the engine. And its not just a rod length difference, the belcranks are different also.,.

What he said is correct. I used to save all of them in a box. You wouldn't believe how many different lengths of rods and bell cranks are around. I usually end up cutting them and adding a piece of round stock in the middle to get everything to work.
