We use teflon seals with no problems also,that's why I asked.
Nautilus Racing- We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.

They work sure. When you take a lot of engines apart, you get to see the difference between those and the viton style. It very apparent the dryness and actual wear on the valve stems.The valve stems often are scratched and looked like they ran dry.I will only use Viton, but will Teflon work, sure, just not for me after seeing the difference. Every engine and head I do gets viton. just my preference after years of tearing down engines and noting the difference. I used them years ago like everyone, but I feel there is a better option now.
