No, Thumper is correct on NGK, the smaller last numbers are hotter, the bigger numbers are colder, IE a -8 is hotter than a -9. A -5 is really hot
YES..^^^Correct...NGK... -10 is coldest..

I have run and liked the Champion C59CX for years,I have just switch to the Autolite AR3933(same heat range) and only like them better because I can read the plugs better,than with the Champions on alcohol.No difference in ET between the 2 at all.The NGK R5671-9 is the same heat range plug,have not run them yet not sure if I will like the full length electrode.
