Are you talking SB or BB... this will give you a idea of the clearance... I cant remember the height of the alt in the stock location.... mine is mounted to the frame rail

I dont know for fact but if you look at the upper line of the belt I think its gonna hit the water pump... unless the alt is lower than what I think it was in the stock location..... myself I wouldnt run it in the stock location.. the belt would be too long and maybe spit the belt off... a short belt is always better
